Gourmet Jungle’s brand concept was based on the idea of a company that produced exotic, gourmet snacks in ready-to-gift packaging. Because it was conceptualized as gifting brand that would ship nationally, the identity had to be distinct from any grocery brands in the space and have a higher end, but still playful feel.
Early brand concepts included an emphasis on the exotic and the integration of the G and J inititals, jungle animals and even fresh fruits.
